Is The Weeknd a Genius?

Calling The Weeknd a genius might be a bit of an understatement. He is an absolute legend in the music industry.

So, why is Abel so fucking brilliant? Well, first off, his voice. It’s like butter melting in your ears. His vocal range is off the charts! When I saw him perform live, I got goosebumps and cried almost the whole concert. You can’t help but get lost in his music, and that’s the sign of a true genius, right there!

But hold up, it’s not just his voice that sets him apart. The Weeknd’s songwriting skills are on another level. I mean, he’s not afraid to get real and vulnerable in his lyrics. His songs are so relatable for everyone. He talks about love, heartbreak, partying, and all the highs and lows of life.

Let’s not forget his incredible live performances. I’ve been to his concert this week and I’ve never felt anything like it before. Honestly, every concert from now on can’t beat what I’ve seen and felt at The Weeknd’s concert. His energy, stage presence, and charisma are next level. Everything felt so surreal. If my 13 year old self would have known that I would’ve gotten to his concert one day, I wouldn’t have believed it. It was an unforgettable, crazy, emotional experience!

Also, it’s the way he connects with his fans. He’s always showing love to his supporters, engaging with them on social media, and making them feel like they’re a part of his journey. That kind of connection is rare in the industry, and it’s what makes him more than just a music icon.

Some of my tips for The Weeknd’s concert are:

  • Go with at least an hour before, you never know how big the line is to get in. We went three hours before and the line moved very quickly. Organization on point!
  • If you want to see the opening acts, you should be there at least two hours before Abel starts his show.
  • Don’t wear heels, there are so many stairs you have to climb. Also, he performs for two hours, so you better be comfy while you dance and sing to his music.
  • They don’t let you in with big bottles of water, but be sure to buy a small one because you’re going to get very dehydrated.
  • Leave immediately after his last song. Otherwise, you’re going to get out of there in a very long time, probably hours.
  • You’re for sure going to lose your voice afterwards, so buy pills for your throat beforehand.
  • After the show, you won’t find Ubers or taxis. We waited for about an hour until we found an Uber. So, better get the subway, if you’re close to a station.

If you haven’t gone to The Weeknd’s concert yet, what are you waiting for? Get ready to get your whole world blown away by this incredible legend!
